Reflecting on your early experiences with music scores in school, you might recall how your band's sheet music appeared. The band score was (and remains) an invaluable tool for learning our favorite songs. It even allowed for the creation of original compositions using the scored parts.

Notations such as "Intro, A, B, C, repeat, solo, and ending" facilitated easy collaboration and sharing of musical ideas among band members. This straightforward approach made rehearsals and performances more efficient.

The desire for similar functionality on iOS devices became evident: "We still need it on iOS, don’t we?" leading to the development of a dedicated app for iPad. We successfully created GarageScore, which displays chord names rather than traditional musical notes in the notation window.

GarageScore offers two font sets: a draft font optimized for on-screen display and a high-resolution option suitable for printing. This flexibility enables users to share their scores seamlessly via iPad or to print scores for further editing and annotation.

The application supports the creation of notation scores tailored to your rhythm section and other instrumental parts. Key concepts include: OPOS (One Page for One Song), HQPO (High Quality Print Out), and CCW (Complex Chord Welcome).
